GINA DOVER-JAQUES
LANDSCAPE OBSERVATIONAL STUDIES

Landscape Observational Studies UK
Introduction
01 Introduction
Gina Dover-Jaques’ analogue photographic work explores how expertise is formed through engagement with cultivated and historic landscapes.
The work positions photography as a means of observing interpretation as it unfolds, where meaning emerges through movement, attention, and spatial awareness.
Working with analogue image-making, each project develops through responsive, non-staged encounters within these environments.
Across the work, observation operates as a form of interpretive practice embedded within place.
