LANDSCAPE OBSERVATIONAL STUDIES
1. Rousham Garden Sketchbook
A set of visual notes from time spent at Rousham, made alongside the accompanying conversation with Advolly Richmond.
These images sit outside that discussion. They do not attempt to interpret the garden through words, nor to illustrate a particular reading of it.
Instead, they record moments of looking: the house in relation to the landscape, passages of light, structure, surface, and distance. Together they form a fragmentary sketchbook, an impression of place rather than a complete account of it.
